In a heavy saucepan put the margarine in and when completely melted add the flour and stir until you get a smooth consistance. Add the water and the cheese stirring constantly until it thickens. Once it has thickened remove from the heat. Put in the egg yolk, salt, cayenne pepper, crackers, and the crab meat. Mix well. On a cooking pan (flat) make patties as if you were making hamburgers. Broil in the oven for about 5 minutes or until hot.
