Cajun Shrimp

 

History 1 lb. shrimp
Profile 1/2 tsp. salt
Flags 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Festivals 1/8 tsp. oregano
Symbols 1/2 tsp. thyme
Kaplan 1/2 tsp. red chilli pepper flakes
General 1/2 tsp. rosemary
Home 1 1/2 tsp. galic chopped
Recipes 1/2 c. beer
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
3 c. cooked rice

Put the cayenne pepper, salt, red chilli peppers, thyme, rosemary, andoregano in a small bowl and grind them until you get it finely ground. Shell, de-vein, and rinse the shrimp.  In a heavy saucepan melt the butter over a high heat.   Add the garlic, worcestershire sauce, and the seasoning.  Cook until it becomes bubbly then add the shrimp and continue to cook for about 5 more minutes.   Now add the beer.  Cook for 5 more minutes.  Serve this over cooked rice.
